They seem to go so happily
Fighting for our country
Do they hide thier fear?
Will they come back?
What makes them so brave?
To fight for such a great country
The tears have been shed
Many more will fall
If we could just try and imagine
What would happen?
The wars have been fought
Now we stand silent for two minutes
While overseas another war happens
Guns are fired
Lives are lost
How can we sit here in schools learning about the blood shed
As another soldier looses his life for us.
