Kiss and Regret

by N4than   Mar 27, 2007

A raging fire,
A braking heart,
A burning desire,
He's fallen apart.

Drenched in pain,
Breaking him down,
Not one uncut vein,
He's not yet found.

Did he mean anything to her?

Somewhere beyond,
Anguish and misery,
Lies nothing more fond,
Than a longing to swiftly...

Cleanly, completely, utterly forget.

Just want u to know, that i absolutely adore the last line.

    not sure why.

it doesn't rhyme, doesn't have a particular flow..

yet, i am in love with it, and its position and significance in the poem.

    ye, no idea why.

now, come back to writing!! =P
