What Matters the Most

He thinks he knows me,
When he hurts me I try to hide it,
He misses all the points and the signs,
So if I am to leave the faught is his.

He does love me,
And I do love him,
I know, he knows the little things,
and could list them one by one.

My eyes are blue,
My hair is brown,
In 91 I was born.
My favorite song is Dont Matter.
He has memorized my every move.

But he pays no attention to what matters most,
He rarely asks,
I never say.
And when I cry he turns away.
I am easily ignored.
Easily forgot about
and easily hurt.

He misses all of the little things,
All he has to show is the cold facts and nothing more,
My eyes are blue,
My hair is brown,
In 91 I was born.
My favorite song is Dont Matter.
He has memorized my every move.

My fathers short,
My mothers gone.
They took me away when I was 12.
The way I laughed,
The way I loved.

One day he will realize what he has done.
One day I will give up and let it all go.
One day I will walk away and leave it behind.
But no matter the pain he causes.
No matter what he doesn't see,
My love remains and will!
