Dear Little Child

by Kimmy Ekviriyakul   Mar 27, 2007

Dear Little Child, lay now to rest.
Harm will soon past so hope for the best.
A lonely night, just so hard to sleep.
You sit in the corner, alone, and you weep.

Dear Little Child, I hear your prayer.
If only I could, but I just can't be there.
You're standing with confusion, like all hope is lost.
You're sins is the payment, but high is the cost.

Dear Little Child, speak loud with your voice.
The sadness within you, wasn't by choice.
All you want, is simply just love.
To be with the people, you always think of.

Dear Little Child, As you lay to rest.
Think about others and hope for the best.
You're eyes close slighty as one more tear falls.
The world my child, must go through it all.
