Hatred Boils

by The Queen of Spades   Mar 28, 2007

Hatred boils
In the hard place
Where the softness
Of my heart used to be
Thanks to you
I am not broken
But complete
And full, brimming with rage
Where you touched
I am red
Where you entered
I've sealed it off
You once made me gasp
Moan, squirm
Now I'm furious
I've been taken advantage of
And I'm craving
Some sweet, hard vengeance
Don't say sorry
I don't care
I'm so much stronger than before
You pushed away
And created a monster
Now you must suffer the consequences

A lot of anger that was needed to vent, and I could feel it from your words. Some parts interrupted a bit of the flow, but sometimes I need to read poems a few times before I get the intended flow of it. So good job, I thought it was very well done.
