Amongst all odds
I've come to find a love close to my heart
A love unlike any other I've seen
A love in which makes me ponder and prod

Amongst all odds
I've found "the one" I want to love and never part
I just wish I could've at least foreseen
This love within my heart from the very start

Amongst all odds
I'd like to move forward with my love and convene
Hold each other close and never depart
Let me be your king and you my love can be queen

Amongst all odds
I've found the one for my passionate heart
The one in which I don't want to demean
I just want to be absolutely serene

A Parquette has four stanzas, each containing four lines. The first line of the poem is repeated in every stanza as the first line. Each line, except the first, has 10-12 syllables. The rhyme scheme is: "abcaabcbacbcabcc".

    I like this one also because sometimes the odds are against you and people sometimes give in to those odds...it's important that you at least try to fight them because in the end...the odds may turn in your favor...this was very good...
