Goodbye

I thought I would miss you,
but i realized that all of my "missing"
was a lie, a way to keep something
human about you close to my heart.

I thought you would miss me,
But why would somebody with no
feelings miss something they never
knew they had in the first place?

Why do you care? Why did you stab me
in the back and then turn the
whole story around again?

Why did you lie about everything?

Why am i writing you this poem!?

Just to let you know that i can say goodbye,
Goodbye to someone who was never
there when i needed her most,
Goodbye to a b.itch who could never
EVER realize that I was there whether I wanted
to be or not...

Goodbye, goodbye to the one person I
trusted with a secret I knew she wouldnt
tell. Goodbye to the one who told it anyway.

I hate you. Goodbye!

    Wow, I can feel the emotion, especially anger in this. I know what it's like to have your best friend betray you, so i'm sorry about that. A great poem though, it really expresses alot. The first stanza stood out most to me. It's very powerful. Excellent write. 5/5

    Ah, the deciet of a "best friend". That sucks.. no matter what. I wish you all the best of luck with the situation. True friends are always there, no matter what! Remember that! :)

    Allah!! I wish I coulda given this to my friend years ago!! I just loved it. And I can tell it comes from the heart..heh. I liked the 1st stanza, especially. Well I liked the whole thing but you know. Lol. Anywhos, love, I loved the poem! Don't stop writing!!! Iloveyou! =]
