Tears of Heaven

by chavii   Mar 28, 2007

I still remember that sunny day when i was walking down to my work place.
The intolerable hot afternoon was further dampening my already sore mood.
Sad and depressed i saw life as an unbreakable cage where only dark phases of life prevails.
With this train of thoughts i started questioning the very existence of God.

Unexpectedly i was answered by a soothing breeze.
Momentarily making me forget my morbid feelings.
My steps came to a halt and my gaze went straight to the blue kingdom of lords.
The blazing sun was showing all its might, with no clouds around to challenge its pride.
"wish it would rain and i will pen down a poem with name ,tears of heaven."

As soon as this thought crossed my head, miraculously couple of rain drops fell over my face.
Stunned my eyes searched the sky with disbelief but no trace of clouds was to be seen.
The incident left me in a nostalgic trance,my heart was overwhelmed by grand happiness.
I looked across ,the trees ,the birds all of His creations seem to acknowledge me with a happy nod.
For first time i felt the chord that fastens us with our dear lord.
Tranquil and peaceful, i headed towards my destiny, cherishing the special moment when my lost soul was awakened by tears of heaven.

P.S.*the poem is inspired by a true incident*

Wow! this piece gfot goosebumps all over me. it's so strange the way God talks to us, isn't it? In little ways he makes us feel that we are not alone, but with him always.

thanks a lot for your comment, Chavi. It means a lot to me
    peace
