To the blinded readers
and those who don't understand
let me tell you something
about the fairy tale world of "poetry land"
Poetry is for the week mind
that has been battered through the years
it's a way for them to leave it all behind
and finally rid themselves of their tears
it's a better escape then death
To be able to read and let go
but then why do some turn to drugs like meth?
what does that go to show?
Is the drug of the pen
to weak to conceal all the pain?
Or is it that men
would rather use drugs and go insane?
But don't waste to much time
on a poem few may comprehend
It's just another rhyme
that won't really matter in the end.
