Wait and See

by Thoughtless Consideration   Mar 28, 2007

Magenta horizons caught in your eyes,
Five million tears and a thousand fake smiles.
There she is, so perfect, I can tell you're in love.
Her face is so gorgeous- sent from above.
And here I sit, so plain on the outside,
If only you could see this heart that I hide.
Barely any chances left for me,
But I know that she'll steal them, just wait and see.
And your smile that slipped from your face was so cruel, You're my lovely pet angel; and I'm just a fool.
If only you could see past my pale skin,
I pray you'll be dazzled by what lies within.
But soon you'll me gone, and you won't remember me.
My mistakes are my errors are all you can see.
You just can't be thankful; you only notice my flaws.
She stole my only chance- you waited, [you saw.]

This poem was good, I liked it alot, and I understand it, but one line didn't make much sense-
"My mistakes are my errors are all you can see."
maybe you meant to say my "mistakes and my errors" instead, but idk.
it was still really good though.
