Throw it Away

by Taylor   Mar 28, 2007

Focus on the hate that has helped you stay strong
Ignore the pain that has imprisoned you for so long
Maybe she'll come to your grave when your dead
As your few friends carry your casket with anguish in their heads
Will she hold you when death is near?
As you slip away from this world with no fear
The blood running from your wrists
Now how will you get out of this?
Will you beg for death when the time has come?
Mercy from heaven, argue that you never saw the sun
Thrown down in a pit of depression so deep
They all broke your heart, the only ones that could make you weep
You stayed so strong for so long, now you throw it all away
What about the ones you left behind, The ones here to stay
Will you give way to the path of the noose
Will you let this terrible anger and sadness loose
Do what you do, keep it bottled up inside
Get rid of one of the only things you have left, your pride
They didn't love you, they all laugh in your face
Life's a marathon, and you've fallen in this race
