Why do I care?

Why do I care about you after everything you put me through. You lied to me, cheated on me, and left with out a trace.
You knew that I loved you more than life itself. But you threw it in my face. Now I play the fool as I listen to our song only wanting to dance with you just one last time.
Show me that you loved me if only for awhile but PLEASE don't tell me that you can't because you are with her.
Tired of the games my heart no more can cry I have learned to control the tears that once filled my eyes. My soul has lost its wings but that is quite all right.
