The Good Die Young

by modern day barbie   Mar 29, 2007

They sat the good die young
But baby boy i don't think it was time for you to go
It wasn't your fate to die by a gun
Your life was about so much more

That night you shouldn't have gone out
That night you should have stayed home
Then you wouldn't have gotten shot
Then you wouldn't your family wouldn't be laying you to rest in a tomb

Now you left your lil brother by himself
He's forced to face this life alone
You should have told us, we would have helped
But now were writing your name in stone

As the days go on, the tears don't stop
This pain will never disappear over time
And I want you to know we all miss you a lot
You will forever live in our hearts and in our minds

They say the good die young
But baby boy I don't think it was time for you to go
It wasn't your fate to die by a gun
Your life was about so much more

rest in paradise
