A true friend

One day i walked upon this earth,
I felt as though my life had no worth ,
Then you came into my life ,
Yet you helped me with my strife ,
We talked together day and night ,
and understood each others plight ,
A friend like you iv'e never had ,
Without you i would just be sad .
