Forever down

I've had another down day
I'm losing faith in fate
I'm beginning to give up
This life I've come to hate.

Everyone I know
Doesn't know my pain
But do they know I'm unhappy
And going insane?

Of course they don't
They are all blind
Numb to emotion
Especially my kind.

I'm beginning to wonder
What it's like to pass on
The thought is rather welcoming
To be forever gone

Maybe all I need is a friend
But I happen to have none
The person I thought would be there for me
Is no longer my someone

Maybe in the next life
If it's truly so
There will be people who love me
And will never let me go.

All I want is to be happy
But it's forever out of reach
And so the next time you see me
You'll be hearing the preacher preach.

I can't live like this
With no one to lean on
It sounds so much simpler
To just- be gone.
