I once knew a girl at 7
Who's dreams were higher than heaven,
She laughed and giggled everyday
A cheerful little girl i must say!!
This girl felt she had a place in life
And didn't know any strife,
Not a single worry in the world
Everything went round as she twirled!!
As this girl got older
She realized it got colder,
Her dreams drifted away
As everything turned Grey!!
Her place in life disappeared
And things came that she most feared,
The happiness she once had
Now had turned to bad!!
Her world had turned upside down
And now she did nothing but frown,
She's been hurt by so many males
And now shes gone off her rails!!
She's been abused none stop from the age of 8
And through the years has lost a lot of weight,
This girl i know has now got manic depression
She goes about her days hiding the Expression!!
If people saw through the smile
They'd know her life isn't worth while,
This girl I'm talking about has always been me
And for the rest of mi life, this is how ill be!!
