The Deadly Circus.

by Isabelle   Mar 29, 2007

This is the deadly circus,
a courageous mistake.

This circus has no ringmaster,
and the lions are eating the crowd.

The cowards are running,
the brave are falling.

Oh my,
I think I just just saw the snake-boy die,
along with the bearded woman!

The elephants are stomping us all down,
we don't know what to do!

The carnival horses are killing people,
The tigers have been set loose.

Somebody help us,
oh, somebody please!

People,
everywhere,
still pay money just to watch others die.

Yay,
how nice that that the ringmaster's arrived.
Only too bad he's a blood-sucking zombie.

Everybody's crying,
People are panicking,
Somebody call the police!
Tell them a deadly circus is killing us all!

This is the deadly circus,
Many have seen it,
But so many die,
So that nobody knows it's real.

So sad,
When I tell the story,
That nobody believes,
Nobody cares.
The question is,

Do you believe?

Holy crap, isabelle, that was creepy. But really good. Thank god you didn't include the scariest circus performer in that poem, that would have just been freaky. Good job, though. 4/5
