Lost Forever in the Sea

by Strange Angel   Mar 29, 2007

Feet slowly pace
Along the high edge of the roof
Burning lunacy all around me:
I’ve no where left to run.

And I giggle,
And I cackle
And I scream

And all is heat
And life
And loss

Nothing here can touch me
Trust me, I've tried

Still all I see is the darkness
Waiting to swallow
Everything

If only I could jump
But instead I laugh
And plummet further into insanity

Give me an hour
A day,
A second
And I'll be gone

Lost forever in the sea.

Yes I do agree, if we give you an hour, second or such like you shall indeed spontaneously combust into flames laughing manically all the way. Or maybe drown in the sea like this seemed to be saying.

    Wonderfully abstract as always darling,

PS I'd like you to know I've dedicated my new poem "Epiphany of light" to you..;)
