Life = Love

Sometimes I wonder,
I'll sit there and think,
Sometimes it's about love,
Other times my friendships,
Or else life in general.

Most times I wonder,
I'll sit alone to think,
Sometimes you come to mind,
And I smile.
Other times the impact of life,
Leaves me in shock.

Do you ever sit,
And take a breath?
Do I ever come to your mind?
Sometimes I'll ask myself these questions,
It's useless though,
I don't have those answers.

Some people go by the stars,
As much as I love to watch them sparkle,
They've failed to answer me before.
How do you solve life's puzzles?
Or are you this inquisitive?

I have this spinning curiosity,
This odd sense of understanding,
This need to know everything,
Yet I can be quiet,
I can sit and watch life unfold.

Did you know that you amaze me?
When your not watching,
Preoccupied with your own life,
I take a glance over in your direction,
And I am completely stunned.

You take my breath away,
Just like the stars used to do,
There's no use trying to breathe,
At least, not around you.
