How Much Blood?

by Michael D Nalley   Mar 30, 2007

How Much Blood

How much blood do you need?
You'd like to watch me bleed
Stomp on my best friend
Humiliate me to no end

It's so hard to walk a straight line
To err is human, .to forgive divine
Look in the mirror before you cast
You'll find some sin in your past

How many bones would you like to break?
Just because I made a simple mistake
I am not above the golden rule
I'll be damned if I will be your fool

To your own self you are true
What would you have me do?
Do unto you as you did to my friend?
Humiliate, and dog you to the end?
