Country girl

by David Marshall   Mar 30, 2007

Laughing, smiling, keeping it real, singing youre favorite song,
The girl I thought I would never meet has appeared after so long,
No act to show, nothing to hide, just the way you are,
Brightens up the room, like the light from a star,
Carefree and dangerous, living for the moment,
Like the girl of my dreams, from heaven you were sent,
All about the music, living life as a story,
Like that of a country song, in the end there is glory,
No reason to cry, no reason to sob; no reason at all to morn,
To lift the worlds spirit is the reason you were born,
You dance, you sing, you like the have fun, your a free spirited girl,
You dont rock to 50, but you would rather kick it to Merle,
Traveling lifes path that god has not set,
Moving further down the road, not looking back; no regret,
You will carry and so it goes as your life will unfurl,
One thing remains for sure; your my country girl.
