In the darkness of the night
He took what I am and could be
Now I'll never be alright
But let him be, just let him be

Only shadow, pain and fright
He said "Goodbye", didn't he?
Break your heart again, he might
But let him be, just let him be

Cut it off, guy, it's not right!
Arrested to you, never free
You took all that was sweet and bright
Now, let me be, please let me be

I thought of loss and suicide
I let him be, always let be
But every single night I cry
'Cause there is nothing left for me
