ENVY

by sHaTTeReD4SiLeNcE   Mar 30, 2007

I envy the satin cloth on which you lay
Wrapping and cushioning you
I envy the candles that surround you,
Illuminating your ethereal beauty
I envy the flowers that blooms for you
Giving color in this dreary night
I envy the glass which stood between us
A barrier for the unworthy that is I
I stood before your casket, detesting you...
Wishing I was the one that lay there, instead of you...
