Sometimes And Every Time.

by Sarah Ann   Mar 30, 2007

Sometimes you're traveling
[A highway]
The only road you know,
And you seem so sure about the direction
Knowing where you want to go
But this highway
Is a nightmare in truth
And out of no where
A semi rolls right over you

Sometimes you don't wake up.
[In A dream]
And you want to live it.
Because everything is perfect...finally
In this world your presence fits
But this dream
Simply fades away
And you know
Things will never be the same.

Sometimes without warning
[It's raining]
And it comes through your door
Even when it's closed
It seeps through the floor
And you find that soon
You are drenched
In waters of sin.
And thunderclouds start rolling in.

Sometimes lives intersect
[Paths cross]
And you spend your time
Fleeing from that track
With no reason. No rhyme
Only to find that
You are on the wrong train...

[Every time]
