Pure Gold

by ZAcKismSk8tRbOi   Mar 31, 2007

A heart full of love
As pure as gold
Held by a hand
Whose heart was sold

The gold longs for keenness,
Dedication and zeal
But all that hand longs for
Is the heart’s gold to steal

The hand reaches and grabs
Until it can grab no more
And all that is left of the heart
is malice, spite and loathing to the core
