B-A-B-Y

by Marina   Mar 31, 2007

Long dreams of you,
Tiny voices,
Saying Mother, I love you.

I see you running,
Running in the park,
Footballs, baseballs,
We won't stop playing even though it's dark.

Little shorts, tiny shirts,
I want you my child,
I want my baby.

I'll hold you in my arms,
And I'll never let go,
I'll teach you to walk,
And I'll watch you grow.

I know you can't give this to me,
And I know that you're not ready,
I'm sorry to ask for a child,
But I can't do it alone.

I want something to always love me,
To never leave me,
To need me,
To learn from me.

I want to have a child of my own,
For my own selfish reasons,
Please don't judge me,
This isn't one of the highest treasons.

Grant me this one wish,
You can lie to your family,
Your friends will never know,
Please, don't call me a ho.

Let's have a baby,
Please have a baby,
Let me have a baby,
I want a baby.
