Miss Murder. [Italian Sonnet]

Miss Murder. [Italian Sonnet]

Golden hair sweeps over a bare shoulder blade,
As she sits on the sheets imprinted in lies,
Listening to your hearts petty lullabies,
And humming to the sinful serenade --
She dies in a movie star masquerade.
She softly recites a flawless alibi,
To whisper to him tonight, the reason why
Her breath smells like nicotine and spiked lemonade.

But the silver stars scream of her deceit,
And all the gents at the bar have played her game,
Late at night in room 204's dirty sheets,
They all know her face, but they don't know her name;
'That Miss.Murder, boy is she ever sweet,
But be careful, breaking hearts is her fame.'
