Belonging Moments.

The sunset splashes across the sky,
If I close my eyes,
I can hear waves lapping at the sand.

The docks chains gently ring,
The strong sent of wild plants drifts past,
The wind dances around me.

Birds sing a tired song,
The sun continues to sink,
My feet dig deeper,
Into the beach beneath me.

The warm air drops,
Suddenly it's a cool night,
I'm all alone in this peaceful silence.

Stars begin to twinkle,
The moon glowing,
I'm smiling.

These feelings of serenity,
They sweep me off my feet,
They steal my breath.

Natures glory,
Becomes one with me,
A cleansing,
Washing my soul.

It's moments like these,
The constant change,
The constant vibrance,
Yes, moment's like these,
When I know I belong.
