Like A Black Rose

by Jonathan Smith   Apr 1, 2007

Let the rage inside
Let it take over all of you
Let it kill the good in you
And trample me to death

Force me down , yank me out
Tear my roots , and rip me apart
Scattering every part of me
Like the black rose that I am

Take all your pain out on me
And shed my innocent blood
Snatch all my dreams away
And crush my life into the ground
Like the black rose you think I am

Force me down , yank me out
Rip my roots and tear me apart
Scatter me all around you
Like the petals of the black rose you expect me to be

This is all your fault right?
Youve caused all of this
So now you must save yourself from me
As I desc end upon you
And now I will crush and kill you
Like the black rose that you are

What have I done
To deserve such pain?
Please end this torment
Dont take it any further
And p[lease do not ruin me
Like the black rose I am not...
But still you just...

Force me down and yank me out
Tear my roots and rip me apart
You scatter every part of me
The withered rose you have killed
