Tears

He says he loves you.
Does he really mean it?
You want to tell him how you feel
but you cant
You don't have the courage to do so.

You wish he could just sit still
and listen but it's impossible.

He brings tears to your eyes.
Do you let them out?
They keep building up.
You look in the mirror and see all the
pain everyone has caused.

Then you think of the memories you have of him.
There's nothing left to do but to let the tears out.

A tear rolls down your cheek,
You think of yours and his first kiss
Here comes another tear,
You think of all his hugs that made you
feel safe to be in his arms.

Down comes another tear,
But this time they just keep coming.
You think of all the good & bad times
You had together.

The tears stop rolling down your cheeks,
But they just keep building up.
You think of the first time he said,
"I Love You."

Here comes the tears,
You believed him.
He had you fooled.
He made you think he really cared.
You got to the point where you thought
You loved im back.

As the tears keep coming,
You continue to think if you
really loved him or not.
Then he breaks your heart.

Thats when the tears start coming down
Faster and harder.
You try to stop crying but you can't.
The tears start to finally slow down.
One tear is slowly rolling down your
Cheek now.

You think to yourself,
is it even worth the tears anymore?
Another tear rolls down.
Just one tear is rolling down your cheek
As you say goodbye to the past.
Thats the last tear you shed.

You wipe your eyes and push it all aside
and try to start something new.
