Tears in the rain

She lived a lonely life
She was always by herself
Yet she achieved so much

I wish i had given her the time
The time to get to know her better
To listen and learn everything she had discovered

Her eyes told a story of great adventure and wealth
Of seeing places one could never imagine
Of meeting people who knew so much

No one ever took the time to sit with her
To hear her and just find out more
To makes sure what she knew carried on

And so all her experiences will be lost
Like tears in the rain
