The screaming makes me run

I ran away today
i ran from my tears
i ran so far away
just running from my fears

i ran out the door
i ran and i screamed
i ran from that place
were loud voices beamed

i ran down the road
i ran from his lies
i ran till i nearly died
were i couldn't hear my cries

i ran and didn't stop
i ran from my dad
i ran into the dark night
so i'd forget my past
and all the misery it had

i ran away till he found me
i ran till he grabbed me
i ran from his voice
until he forced me back home
