Love and Holding Hands

by Holly   Apr 1, 2007

Like walking in the rain,
or running in a storm,
getting snow in your boots,
or winter jacket warm.

Like dreaming with the moon,
or wishing on the stars,
cuddling up with a good book,
or simply racing cars.

like being stranded in the desert,
or being lost in a crowd,
putting your phone on silent,
or playing music loud.

Like warm breeze in the summer,
or mud all over in the spring,
finding a four-leaf clover,
or a painful bee-sting.

These things are all the same
like trust issues and road sands,
yet each are very different,
love and holding hands.

I dont normally like poems that rythmn as yours tend to do but yours tend to be an exception to that... you are able to express great ideas well without interupting the message you are trying to portray with your rhymning
