First night in a long time,
That she and her man are having fun!
Smoothing over silky red wine,
Acting like they are finally one.
Relieved over her noble decision,
Paying attention to only him.
Her role as wife played with precision,
Living a life of Carpi Diem.
The band is starting to play now,
Melody and red wine are filling her veins.
Joyously clapping her hands now,
But aware of a feeling so strange.
For a moment a flash in her mind,
Of her skin against his face.
For a second she saw a trace,
Of a true love she left behind...
Shrugging the goosebumps away,
Quickly turning to her trusted man.
Tonight we both came out to play,
With Hulk Hogan and Peter Pan.
Back at home in our haven,
Laughing at the strange people we saw tonight.
Whilst the bright stars cry at my heart that's craving,
And a soul that misses you will all its might!
