Silver Angel

by Wings Of Flames   Apr 1, 2007

You prance through the grass,
And sway your head so soft,
Pronounced so loudly,
As your spirits are aloft,

Your mane a tangle of colour,
As it dances while you move,
Your body rocks in rhythm,
And your strides stay so smooth,

Your danty legs so white,
Glide through the shimmer of dew,
You stop and stamp your hoof,
And then was when I knew,

Yes, you have the tendancies,
To play the biggest tricks,
But your wings aim higher,
Perhaps that's how I get my kicks,

We fly together when we ride,
You are excited when we do,
Playing in the fields,
Our souls trapped, just me and you.

Your hair falls in the wind,
We have peace among the doves,
And this is when I knew,
You are the one I love.
