Rest Peacefully Grandpa DAVID... I LOVE YOU

NOTE: This is a poem that I wrote my grandpa David whom passed on Febuary 3rd in California... While he was in the hospital....

I dont know about anyone else,

but you were the best grandpa,

any child could ever have,

treating us all like equal,

no one more then the other,

blood or no blood didn't matter,

cause in your eyes we all were,

unlike many people in this world,

you and Grandma Carmen made it very clear,

that I was your grandchild just like the rest,

but now look at where you are,

up in heaven where you truly belong,

watching over your entire family,

as your keeping your legend for all that passed,

and for your mom who passed a while back,

just doing what you love best,

but I'm not going to lie to you gramps,

I do really miss you like the rest,

crying our eyes out just to hear you one last time,

every night as I lay myself down to sleep,

sleep walk is what I hear you play,

letting me know that you love me,

so you just rest peacefully grandpa,

cause you've earned your wings to heaven,

like everyone knew you would someday...
