Lmao, we have a load in common! I've done a poem in this format as well called 'Free'.
I like this one, the haiku that you started with could just as easily stand on it's own and the rest of the piece was amazing

I wrote one for that contest too, and it was fun. ;/ but not nearly as good as this one.

Although parts of this poem seemed almost somewhat juvenile, it was very sweet and the style was very unique compared to the generic, typical poem outline. Keep writing, you've got a lot of potential peaking through!
