Pain

There's nothing I can do,
To make this pain go away.
It takes all my strength,
Just to make it through the day.

I didn't mean to hurt you,
I didn't mean what I said.
It's just that I was so mad,
And all those nasty words were running through my head.

I'm sick of the way we fight,
Every single day.
Nothing can make this alright,
No matter what you say.

Everyone says I should just move on,
And deep down I know what they say is true.
But despite all the pain and hurting,
I know I'll never get over you.
