The time has come
We together
Sit alone
Worlds apart
You move in smooth speech
I used to love that
Now when words leave your lips
I crumple to the floor
Like white noise ruining
My sillicone eardrums
Cry.
Little boy inside
You are not my master
I am not your sin
Together
We learned in a park
and ate ice cream in the rain
I guess when I revieled myself
let down my guard
You couldn't take it.
But now I'm done with wishing
Praying
Hoping
Dieting
Trying to change for you.
I am me.
You
Are
You.
with or without me.
