No More

by Kyle Winge   Apr 2, 2007

In the crib, the baby's crying,
cause in the bedroom, mom and dad are fighting.
She's tired of all the screaming and yelling,
no one else knows, so no one's helping.
She can't tell anyone, cause daddy will come down with an iron fist,
but this time momma makes him miss,
he throws momma to the floor,
She lets out a cry, "daddy please no more".
He beats her and she starts to cry,
every moment, wishing she would just die,
then, all her pain would be gone,
She gets away and is out the door and long gone.
She's running down the street,
no shoes, so she's running with bare feet.
She returns home to find the baby dead,
Daddy on the florr and momma on the bed with a bullet in her head,
She goes to her room and climbs in the bed,
there was no way of knowing where this road would have lead,
she might be the one on the floor with a bullet in her head.
Don't worry, this is just folklore,
It's just a story of a little girl, who begged for no more.
