I met a boy on msn one day,
He said My girlfriend ran away,
I asked why,
He said she has Cancer,
He cried for days and days,
I couldn't think of anything to do or say,
He loved her,
And did miss her so,
He told me his nickname,
Which was Carlo,
He told me everything,
He was a nice kid,
One night we were talking on msn,
His parents were having a shouting fight,
He shut the door and spoke to me,
Trying to blank out what was happening,
Then his father came in the room,
He hit Carlo,
He beat him up,
The neighbors pulled him off him,
Covered in blood Carlo spoke to me,
I thought what has he done to him, I wish I could See,
Carlo went to hospital,
His father got taken to prison,
Carlo came on-line the next day,
He said sorry angel, I can't stay, I'm at a friends, I'm going back to hospital soon to have an 8 hour operation,
My dad broke my hand, left leg, and I have big wounds all over me,
He made me promise something,
That when I have children,
I would name one after him to remember him,
I said yeah, I will try,
He asked me if I could do something else for him,
He gave me his girlfriend's email,

He said Angel, I have to go to hospital now,

I started to cry,
Because I didn't want him to die,
I had told him to think of me before the doctors put him to sleep for the operation so he will survive,
He promised he would,
I would have gone and been with him in the hospital if I could,
But I live in a different country to him,
So I couldn't go and visit him,
His father had been released from prison,
I don't know why because he did wrong,
I only spoke to Carlo for two weeks,
And I felt like I had known him my whole life,
How could his father have been so cruel?,
It was his son for goodness sake,
He should protect him,
Not hurt him,
He didn't do anything wrong,
I will always be with Carlo no matter what,
