The Forgiveness

by Jade Shadow Rose   Apr 2, 2007

Into darkness my soul dwells,
Falling apart,
From the pressure unknown to man,
Or beast alike,
All things combine,
Forming one,
Being in itself,
Holding memories,
Of past pains,
From every living thing.

Into sorrow my thoughts wonder,
As the light slowly fades,
Dimming all hopes,
Fading all dreams,
All things,
That gives us strength,
Gives us nobility,
Honor once lived,
Now only pain.

Into remorse my mind falls,
Losing you in the process,
Of elimination from which,
Feelings are torn,
Words have been said,
Meaning misunderstood,
Taken too hard,
Like a bullet to our heart,
Given the time to poison us,
And lead us into hatred.

Into pain my heart now goes,
Tormenting agony,
Endless torture,
Focused malice that leads me to hate,
Into a black rage,
Fallen from grace,
Down from the heavens,
Plunging into hell,
Into the darkest darkness,
Give me the forgiveness,
That my heart so needs.
