He Answered My Prayers

He must have heard me when I use to pray
so he send his angel to get me through the day
he listened and granted my desired wish
to have the man that I love be here to kiss

It took some time but that is gods work
he granted me smiles and took away the hurt
He lifted my spirit by picking me up when I was down
and quickly erased the sadness, with the happiness I found

So now I thank him for all the good that hes done for me
He took away my darkness and gave me light to see
he was my one true hero when I had a broken heart
He answered my prayers of making a new start
