Silent Hate

by {Miss} [A][L][L][I][S][O][N]   Apr 2, 2007

We speak through
Static
Words choked out between
The sniffles
And whispered words of
"You know this isn't your fault, right?"
Misunderstood.

You could stop lying
Because nobody else
Made them fight today it
Was just when I did something stupid
And then their words exploded
"I'm sorry" didn't make it
Stop.

And now I'm
Laying here knees to chest
Stoking your plaster covered legs
And somehow I don't believe you
When you keep saying
It'll be okay.

I don't seem to hear much
Yelling anymore but
Silence isn't so golden
When it's only filled with
Hate.
