She broke up with you today
No surprise, it was coming anyway
At first I laughed but stopped myself
I held back the temptation to help

I can't be the cold hearted like I want to be
Can't rub it in your face or be happy
Can't be proud I made the right move

This should have made me feel great
To see that sad look on your face

After all the hurtful things you put me through

Shouldn't really care that you must be sad
But I know how it feels to lose something you had
Can't say I told you so and walk away
Because I guess deep down I share you pain

Feels like I waited for this for too long
Now it's come it just feels so wrong
and I know can't comfort you this time
Can't promise you it'll be okay and work out fine

I guess it seems I still care and don't want you hurt
Even though I tried to smile at first
My friends say I should be pleased and happy
But that's more like you, not me ...
