Death's way

by robin milford   Apr 2, 2007

He waits in the wings
while you get life going full swing
then he pounces on you
wraps his arms around you
and takes you away
that's death's way
Your family is filled with sorrow
filled with tears they can't swallow
They try to go on with plans they own
but they are blown
everything has come undone
your were taken before you had begun
Good bye my friend
this is the end
We say bye
and we wonder why
it has to be this way
it is sad he took you a way
but that is death's way

It doesn't seem to flow that well. I guess it's just how the endrhymes are. Like the idea but something about the words nearly defeat it to me. In these lines:

"They try to go on with plans they own
    but they are blown"

there's something about it either a missing word which messes up the flow or a word added that also does the same. Otherwise ignoring the flow I find it interesting.
