If loving you is wrong...

by Joy dela Pena   Apr 3, 2007

If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right.
If it's a sin to be with you every night,
Then let me be punished for the sin I've made.
If the punishment is death, I will face my fate.

If loving you will cause me pain and loneliness,
Then let me be lonely and in pain my highness.
If loving you brings me a lot of sufferings,
Then let me suffer for the happiness it brings.

I will never trade my love for you to power,
I will be with you for richer or for poorer.
I rather lose everything and all I have,
Than to live this life of mine without you, my love.

I will share this life with you now and forever,
I will be here with you thru your tears or laughter.
I'll be behind you in your success or failure,
For you there's nothing I cannot face and endure.

I'll wait for your freedom even its forever,
Even if that freedom might not come or never,
I will stand here still and I'll fight for you.
I will never leave you even you'll ask me to.

Here I offer you my heart, my life and my soul.
What ever I am it's because you made me whole.
To you I surrender everything that I am,
With you, I'll take all the obstacles that may come.

If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right.
I don't need to be perfect in everyone's sight.
I don't need to follow the rules of righteousness,
I'd rather be wrong with my love and happiness.
