For the animals wild and tamed as part of life

For the kids who keep me company day in day out
With them i bring out the child in me with fun
Never a dreary time as i feel young at heart
That adds vibrancy and color to my life

For the knowledge so deep and wide
And schools of thoughts that mold me in whole
For the gift of gab i'm so proud to have
As i articulate the words of truth with sense

For the job as my daily grind for a living
The comforts of life for my whims and caprices
For the food on my table scrumptious as ever
And clothes with shoes that keep me in style

For letting in my heart reside a kind soul
One who thinks not for oneself but more of the heart
For creating the love so harmless to the recipients
And imbibing in us the values of love
