Racism Vs The Racist

Why fight each other??
Why judge someone on their colour??
On their race??
inside we are the same,
one heart, lungs and blood
we are the same but still...
People fight this fact,
they believe they are better.

We all fight to survive,
in this harsh, cruel world,
why make one race of people fight harder
they face the same challenges
why make more for them
we are them, as they are us
so in making life harder for them
you make life harder for yourself
for when the world does change
for the better and for there to be peace
you will be left out
you will be the one, alone now

when the world fixes itself
you will be fighting harder,
you will be the one who is different
you will be green ,
sick of yourself
we all will be together looking down on you,
but we are better then you,
we will help you through
help you see the light,
and then you will see,
everyone on this small planet is equal
we are all the same,
then we all will live without different races
for then and only then will there be no racism.

This poem was inspired by an acquaintance (not really a friend because of past events) who told me about a song and I listened to that song and it was about racism. I have never liked racism actually I hate it just as much or maybe more then I hate abortions well I don’t know about more but anyways it got me thinking that maybe I could use what little talent I have in writing to shine some light upon this horrid event that actually happens in the world. So I hope this poem makes some people get out into the world and do something about racism and I hope u enjoy my poem.
