Immortal

As we wander this earth with our eyes open in search of our place.
We find ourselves facing struggles that we overcome.
We chose our goals that we attempt.
These days turn into memories, and the nights become our meditation.
Though we may not know where we are going,
We follow that call that God speaks out to us.
Some are glorified, while some are mistaken.
Our friends are made, and great friendships lost.
Our lovers are overlooked. But they somehow seem to be our peace.
We keep our families close giving our divine attention.
We succeed in our lives, in ways that are not always understood.
But still we have our faults.
The obstacles in our times are to be viewed as tests of his mercy.
Not to be over looked but, to be viewed as our tree to heaven.
For there is no right or wrong, there is sin and grace.
For there is much opportunity for our good here on earth.
And too many breaks for our evil.
As we look past our life, we find ourselves giving it to another that is meant to be ours.
One who we have a connection of purity and one who we worship.
A love so strong that it overpowers our own will.
Intended to last all eternity.
Our true happiness is found through our faith and our love.
With these in our hearts we are Immortal.
